Week Four of Operation Fat-B-Gone is over!
This was not my best week.
I was at a conference in California for over half of the week and struggled to make time to work out while I was there.
I did eat pretty well while I was there…which surprised me. I just didn’t exercise enough.
WEIGH-IN TIME!
I lost 3 more pounds this week. That puts my total weight loss at 13 pounds in 4 weeks.
Sweet!
That I didn’t put any weight on while in California is a miracle.
This week I am going to work harder and try to lose 4-5 pounds.
If I want to have the physique of David Hasselhof it’s going to take some more hard work!
Now let’s hear from you!
Comment below and tell me how you are doing on your weight loss/get in shape plan?
Good or bad. You still need to share.
Let’s help each other work toward achieving our goal!

I’m still fluctuating between 170.3 and 169.7. I’ve hit the wall…
Wow that is great Sam. I think it is really hard when you are away from home and eating out a lot, but you did it!!
Down 2 this week for me. I was pretty happy.
Jesse – Decimals are overrated. Did that help?
Mom – 2 pounds!
175 lbs. this morning, seriously starting to think about joining in on this weight loss challenge. Sucks when it’s hard to bend over to tie your shoes because your fat gut is in the way.
I’ll have to start tomorrow, cause I’ve already screwed up this day with Lemon Pound cake from Starbucks.
Should I do this or not is the question for me today???
No progress this week GRRR! But, I should have figured….with family in town for a week I ate alot of things I would not have otherwise. Back on it today….
Once again, you should be very proud Sam. No loss for me last week but no gain either, but I’m going to hit it hard this week as my Disney goal is fast approaching!
John – I think you need to do this, not because you’re overweight but because I want to see you doing the yoga class later this month! He he he….
Ok well I made sure the scale was positioned correctly today and I was down over 2.5 lbs that’s really good for me I lose weight really slowly and am a little like Dana when she said she loses and gains and it all seems to even out. But I’m down this week yay!!! I’m hitting the cardio extra hard this week and drinking tons more water.
Rhonda- 2 lbs that’s awesome great job!
Sam- I’m proud of you that you made healthy choices on what to eat while you were on vacation that’s very difficult. Great job!
John- I’m with Tammy I want to see you join just to do the yoga with us lol plus being healthy is good…and there is only one time in your life that you shouldn’t be able to bend over and tie your shoes and that’s when your pregnant. I’m pretty sure you’re not expecting…
Have a great week everyone.
Congrats to one and all!
I’ve been reading your comments on this for a month now, and I love all the progress that’s being made.
Though our steps forward may not always be big, at the end of the day “…at least I moved forward today” should be the goal.
Progress FTW!
Christian – Great word.
Ruth – Aren’t you the encourager today? Oh…and I have never in my life been able to bend down and touch my toes.
Rene & I haven’t weighed in here for a while – but for the record we are still in on the challenge. My weight loss has gotten a little tricky due to surgery/recovery/and more random symptoms – but so far over 4 weeks I have lost 10 lbs! As for Rene, he has lost a total of 6lbs, however he definately lost inches. All of his pants fit better and even the ones that didn’t fit before! He is very happy
So this has all happened because we have been doing the at home version of weight watchers. I have not been allowed to excercise, and Rene hasn’t had the time. So I’m sure once we really get going with exercise, we are gonna rock!!! Thanks again for putting this challenge together!!
I had high hopes weighing in this week because I really stepped up the exercise. I ran 2 miles 4 times and did intervals on two off days. Overall, I made good eating choices, but I still gained 1.4 pounds. Super frustrating! And, yes, my scale was balanced. I checked and then double and triple checked. I feel like I am trying really hard, but it obviously isn’t enough! I’ll just have to hang in there!
Ok, I have been horrible about coming back and posting on the blog, but I weighed in on Sunday and was down a total of 6 lbs since we started this (now at 204). I WILL break through this 200 barrier in the next couple weeks.
Paige and I have been working out hard at our gym, so it is nice to see the results.
Ruth – can you teach us all how to position our scales to give us the lower results we all want? Maybe this should be the next event.
Rest of the Group – I think we should all go in on one of these to help us lose some weight http://gwbgt.files.wordpress.com/2008/05/olddieting.jpg
Maureen – You ARE ALREADY rocking!
Dana – I know you are working your little booty off. Keep on trucking!
Tyler – 6 pounds is stinking good! If we all go work out on that machine from the future I am sure we will lose the weight in no time!
Down 1 1/2 lbs this week for a total of 4.5 lbs since we started this challenge together and15.5 total. 30 more to go so I’m 1/3 of the way! Yahoo!!
